Shooting Lessons and Crime Prevention Seminars

Basic Pistol Instruction:

The Basic Pistol Instruction Course is for all shooters, regardless of their experiance with handguns. Taught either in one day or broken up into seperate blocks, the course teaches students everything from how the pistol works to safety and proper shooting technique.

Concealed Carry Course to satisfy New York State Licensing Requirements:

In order to carry a pistol in a concealed manner in public, New Yorkers are required to take a Concealed Carry Pistol Course with an accredited instructor. This course satisfies the 16 + 2 hour training requirement and is accepted by Nassau County, Suffolk County, and New York City. Get in touch with us to find out our class availability.

OUR REFUND POLICY REGARDING OUR TRAINING COURSES

When you register for one of our courses, you will receive an invoice through Square-up for the class, which will include a request for deposit to hold your seat.  While we understand life happens, please know that we keep our classes small so cancelations matter. If you need to cancel, and we can refill your seat, we are happy to give you a credit towards a future class within the next twelve months. If we can't fill your seat, we will not be able to issue you a refund or credit. We also maintain the highest levels of safety in our courses and failure to follow instructions, or creating a hazard to yourself or others during a class or on the range, will result in your removal from a course, with no refund or credit. We appreciate your understanding.

ITAR RESTRICTIONS ON TRAINING

ITAR (International Traffic In Arms Regulations) is a set of Federal regulations generated by the State Department stemming from the Arms Export Control Act of 1976.

ITAR restricts training given to non-US Persons.

US Persons are US citizens (both natural-born, and naturalized immigrants) and Permanent Resident Aliens in possession of a current I-551 (“Green Card”).   

Current NRA policy is:

“Under federal law, certain non-U.S. citizens are prohibited from participating in this course. Only non-U.S. citizens who are: (1) lawful permanent residents (e.g., green card holders), (2) refugees, or (3) individuals who have been granted asylum may participate in this course.”
